Summer House Star Carl Radke Shares Dating Update Nearly 3 Years After Calling Off Lindsay Hubbard Wedding (Exclusive)

While he’s “never” been on a dating app — “It’s just not something I’m interested in,” he says — he knows that a relationship is what he wants.

“Do I want to meet someone and get married? Absolutely. But I haven’t really prioritized a relationship,” he says.

Instead, “I’ve really focused on myself,” he says. “I’ve been enjoying focusing on my business. I’ve got a lot of things that I’m working on as a business owner, and also just building my career.”

Between opening SoftBar in September, releasing a memoir, Cake Eater, and going on a book tour, and running the London Marathon, Radke has been busy this last year.

“I’ve been on a book tour, from January through March, so I visited about 25 cities across the United States. So I don’t know [how] I’m going to be dating in between all of that,” he admits.

“The focus is on my career and on myself, and I think when you focus on those things, a relationship will foster, versus, like, chasing and chasing.”

Starting over with Hubbard, 39, is also a priority for Radke. “Lindsay and I obviously have a bond. I missed the friendship,” he says. “Watching it back, like last summer, it was really nice. It was probably one of the highlights of the summer, watching back — our banter and making progress with some of those moments, whether it was her housewarming, whether it was her and I talking at the last finale party.”

“We felt like we got some closure, we got maybe some progress and [started] kind of a new chapter,” he says. “It’s been really healthy.”

He and Hubbard dated briefly in 2019, then rekindled their romance in 2022. They got engaged in August 2022, but called off their wedding — which was set to happen in Mexico — in September 2023.
