Rick Lagina’s Wife Announced Marty Stole The Treasure!
Rick Lagina's Wife Announced Marty Stole The Treasure!

I’m not going to mess with this too much.
Don’t look at that; a much greater understanding of what happened here— that’s what we’re looking for.
From the thrilling and exciting moments of finding what could prove to be the vital clue that could lead to the treasure hidden on Oak Island, to facing one of the many crushing disappointments that the team would have to overcome, here is how the Lagina brothers and their treasure-hunting team fared with the Curse of Oak Island.
Wow, that’s a heck of a wall, isn’t it?
Do I believe that there’s treasure at the bottom of the Guard Shaft? I’ll be honest, I’m hopeful.
For more than two centuries now, we have watched as several people and groups have traveled to that little treasure-hunting spot on the south coast of Nova Scotia known as Oak Island in a bid to get their hands on the treasure that is rumored to be hidden there.
Ever since Daniel McGinnis came across what is now known as the legendary Money Pit back in 1795, these people have done all they can to get their hands on this legendary treasure.
Unfortunately, none of these people have ever come away with the treasure, even to this very day.
Perhaps that is why it is so interesting to watch the Lagina brothers and the rest of the Curse of Oak Island treasure-hunting crew as they take on the treasure-hunting challenge that can be found on Oak Island.
As viewers tune in, their heads are also in a rush as they watch the Lagina brothers and their team perform each dig or drilling exercise on the island.
Perhaps it is so exciting because of the promise of unearthing this treasure or other valuable relics and artifacts that can be found on the island.
With that in mind, it looks as though recently the search for this treasure may have taken one exciting turn or the other.
What could the Lagina brothers and their team have found as they persevered with the search for this long-lost treasure?
Rare discoveries.
Well, we’d find that one of the things discovered by the Lagina brothers and their treasure-hunting team is that the process of searching for the treasure while digging all over the island has turned into something that could be a bit of a toxic cycle, if you let it.
You see, now they have gotten into this routine of finding something that would lead to a lot of expectations while boosting their morale, only to be disappointed as their discoveries or failures in their discoveries lead to massive letdowns and loss of morale.
I have always believed that this work on Oak Island, the original depositional work, was started incredibly early.
This wretched cycle of high expectations and crushing disappointment was recognized when the team used up a ton of energy to carry out many drilling and excavation exercises, only to come up short as the only things discovered after all that time and energy were ordinary objects.
Look at the situation that takes place anytime these guys find something like a coin that they consider to be ancient enough to maybe be part of the treasure rumored to be hidden on the legendary treasure-hunting island.
Each and every member of the team is hit with a wave of excitement as they think of the possibility that maybe they could be the ones to come away with the treasure.
There are artifacts coming out of Oak Island that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
Soon, they dive into the origins of the coin as they look for the answers that could lead them to the elusive Treasure of Oak Island.
Unfortunately, though, this enthusiasm never seems to last for too long.
I do want to say thanks to Rick and the team that put this together, because I do think this is very helpful.
As the team eventually realizes that this is just one of their many failed attempts to find this treasure, this toxic cycle of high expectations that eventually turn out to be utter disappointments lets us know that the hunt for this treasure truly relies on keeping your hopes up, even in the face of the poor results that one is set to experience while searching for the treasure rumored to be hidden on Oak Island.
Eventually, the Lagina brothers, their treasure-hunting crew, as well as the viewers watching from home, came to realize that this crazy cycle did become part of the defining experience of the search for this treasure.
Indeed, this is what the many people who made their way to the island in search of this treasure experienced before they eventually decided to give up on the search for said treasure.
You could see how they could get washed up in each and every discovery that they considered to be significant.
I still think, though, the metals are in the water, and we have two really good scientists that say it’s meaningful—it’s not just some sort of fluke—only to eventually realize that they meant nothing.
Sometimes, it even meant that they may be starting from square one again, and as such, you couldn’t blame some of them for losing their morale and their fortitude as their search for The Treasure of Oak Island never yielded something tangible.
As such, you could see how they would eventually lose enthusiasm, even if they came across something valuable, such as these buttons that were covered with some rather interesting and intricate designs.
Due to the toxic cycle that we’ve mentioned several times now, one can see how they could have missed the value of such objects.
Sure, they were initially labeled as significant findings by the Lagina brothers and the treasure-hunting team, but eventually you could see how they lost interest in these items.
Thankfully, the Lagina brothers and their treasure-hunting crew seemed to be a hard bunch to break.
Sure, they too may have experienced that cycle of high expectations followed by bitter disappointments time and time again, but it seems that it hasn’t affected their morale, at least not in the long run.
Whenever we find lead, mate, I get excited, because sometimes you get some pretty amazing results, and I like the rare unique finds because they tell us more information.
As we can still see them digging as hard as they can, even if they have been on that island for more than a decade now.
I’ve always been interested in Oak’s Point, and maybe there’s some stuff there that could answer some of the questions they have had.
Many setbacks over the years have made them realize that the chances of finding this treasure are a lot slimmer than they ever imagined, but this hasn’t stopped these people from pushing on to fulfill what was a childhood dream for many of them.
After all, if they are the ones who eventually find this treasure, they would be the ones who would have made one of the most historical discoveries ever.
Think about what it would mean to succeed where many others have failed for more than 229 years now.
It would be simply sublime.
With that in mind, it seems as though the Lagina brothers have been forced to catalog the findings that they initially considered to be significant, only to let them down in the end.
That said, this must be because these items may eventually lead them to this elusive treasure.
That said, there is also the fact that it represents how they are still doing their best to maintain their morale and, perhaps more importantly, the hope that they will indeed be the ones who succeed where many of their predecessors failed for so long.
As such, you can see how the perseverance of the Lagina brothers and their team is admirable as it looks like they are set to continue digging.
This must be due to the fact that they are filled with a pure sense of adventure and exploration.
Perhaps even more important, it may prove that they are filled with the eternal hope that they will indeed be the ones to succeed here.
Be that as it may, the team has found that each season of The Curse of Oak Island TV show seems to be a bigger test than the last one.
Sure, they are still filled with passion that may see them digging to the point where they find this treasure, but for now, they are being forced to acknowledge that what they have found so far may just be trinkets when you consider the large scale of things.
Well, they have also come to realize that the treasure of Oak Island is much more elusive than they ever thought it would be.
As such, for now, they will have to treat each minor discovery with respect and humility, as it may ultimately be a vital clue that could lead them to The Treasure of Oak Island.
Just take a look at this strange button that was discovered some time ago on the island—flat on one side and rough and edgy on the other side.
Oh, that’s fantastic!
Oh my God, that’s an old button!
Look, yeah, this is a bobby dazzler of a button, mate.
This is fantastic!
The team was initially excited when they discovered it.
They were so excited that they got it dated, learning that its year of origin could be anything between 1726 and 1776.
It was amazing because it told them that it predated the year in which Daniel McGinnis came across that circular depression of lore.
If the coin was older than the moment that the treasure-hunting mystery of Oak Island began, maybe it could be part of the treasure that was rumored to be hidden on Oak Island.
The importance of the button increased when the team realized that it was a match to a slipway that they also found recently, with the slipway being dated back to the 1700s.
The team was initially excited because it suggested some sort of historical alignment.
Maybe this slipway was involved in the process of bringing this coin and what could be the other coins found in the elusive treasure onto the island.
That said, the team tried not to lean into this too much because they realized that it may be too easy to make such a connection, despite how inaccurate such a connection is.
