American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe said he’s grateful for a “second chance” at life after a serious car accident left him and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, hospitalized earlier this month.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, September 25, Wolfe reflected on the crash that occurred on Sept. 12 in Columbia, Tennessee.

He shared a black and white image of himself with Cline that was taken just hours before the accident.

“This photo was taken a few hours before the accident. Our friend @robbysphotos traveled to Columbia TN to shoot pics for an up coming book @leticiacline and I will be in for the motorcycle industry,” he began. “Everything that day was perfect we had no idea what was to come.”

Wolfe, 60, revealed he was transported by ambulance while Cline was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with major injuries.

He added he recently went to view the car that was in the wreck and called the moment “more emotional than I could ever imagine.”

“When your life is so close to being cut short. You find yourself recalibrating all that’s important,” he added. “God has a plan and I’ve asked him to shine his light and guide us. This photograph will forever remind me of the day we got a second chance.”

Cline’s Recovery Update
Cline, a former model and motorcycle enthusiast, suffered multiple injuries, including fractures to her jaw, sternum and ribs, as well as a partially collapsed lung, according to PEOPLE.

His team released a statement on their condition and thanks fans for their support.

“It’s been 11 days since the accident, and Mike and Leticia are deeply grateful for every call, text, prayer, visit and message of support,” the statement read. “Your love has truly carried them through. They are also thankful for the outstanding care at Vanderbilt and know they are in the very best hands.”

Looking Ahead
For Wolfe, the experience has brought a renewed sense of perspective.

Fans reacted to the post with well-wishes and kind words for both.

“Inspiring, you both are, thank you for sharing your stories and we are sending prayers for speedy recoveries,” one user wrote.

The company Junk Gypsy added, “We love you and are so thankful yall had a co-pilot that day watching over you. We need to make time to see each other soon. So much love to yall.”

Wolfe has starred on “American Pickers” since 2010, traveling the country in search of rare collectibles and antiques. Off-screen, he has long shared his passion for restoration and community projects.
