Cathy Skinner and Max Salvador got very close working on M/Y Bravado during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10, exchanging flirty comments and being there for each other through tough times. But are Cathy and Max still together today?

Cathy spoke with Reality Tea on Jan. 5, where she played coy about her current relationship status with Max, noting that she loves watching “the suspension” between them on Season 10. “But, take it how you will, we speak a lot. He’s great,” she said. “We have such a great friendship, or more, together.”

She continued, complimenting the French deckhand on his compassion and kindness. “We speak so highly of each other, which is just so lovely,” she noted. “And no matter what happens, I always believe people come into your life for a reason, whether that’s for a long time or a short time, that we were meant to meet. He helped me through the hardest time of my life. So, no matter what happens, we will always have such respect for each other.”

Cathy Skinner reveals what drew her to Max Salvador

Cathy immediately caught the eye of Max when she joined the Bravado crew during Below Deck Med Season 10, Episode 7. Cathy told the publication that Max caught her eye due to how opposite he is from her.

“You know what it is? I’ve always appreciated people who are the complete opposite of me,” she explained. “I’m quite a serious person, so having that dynamic brings the fun out of me and makes me laugh.”

Cathy appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, Jan. 5, where she continued to open up about her attraction to Max. The England native admitted that her first impression of him was “exotic” and stated that his “best physical attribute” is “his arms.”

“[He’s a] good cuddler,” she noted in the video above.

Max was on hand to help Cathy get through an extremely difficult time during Below Deck Med Season 10, Episode 14. It was here that Cathy learned of her stepfather’s death and relied on the crew members, including Max, for some comfort amid the charter season.

“For someone so closed off, I have no choice but to be completely vulnerable,” she explained during a confessional. “And having Max helping me to be open and cry and get it all out…Without him, I don’t think I’d be able to carry on the way that I am.”
