Danielle Colby has managed to keep her smile in the midst of her pain.
Danielle posed for the camera with her fiancé, Jeremy Shuch, by her side in her latest upload on her Instagram timeline.
Jeremy was pictured kissing the top of Danielle’s 48-year-old head as they were outdoors in ensembles that appeared to keep them warm in the apparent gloomy winter weather.

The History Channel star had a big grin as she leaned into her future husband’s soft embrace.
Explained in Danielle’s photo caption was everything that had come to pass for her this holiday season:

“Holidays are almost over. Surgery was a success. Natural pain management going well.
Today is my last deer appointment, and family is good. Mission accomplished,” she wrote.
“Heading back to PR very soon, but we will miss our loved ones and the beautiful Midwest until our return.
We’re excited to show in New Year’s Eve in the warm weather.”

Fans commented nothing but well wishes under the reality star’s post:
“Sending you a speedy recovery,” a fan mentioned.
A second fan added, “Feel better, Danielle, and happy holidays for you and Jeremy.”

Earlier this month, Danielle shared a shocking photo on her Instagram and gave fans a deeper look into her current health problems.
The American Pickers star posed in front of an unknown fluffy creature.
The creature had several fleshy tentacles, which stretched into Danielle’s mouth.
Danielle stood with her mouth open, seemingly topless.
She had a face full of glam makeup and left her blonde locks styled and down her back.
Her eyes were also wide open, and she looked shocked to have the strange, animal-like creature in her mouth.

Danielle captioned the post:
“Okay, let me explain. Today is the big day. I’ve been experiencing incredible pain through my face, jaw, ear, neck, arm, and hand on my right side.
A severe case of trigeminal neuralgia is the diagnosis, and a tumor in my face is the culprit.”

She continued,
“The last month has been excruciating, but today I get my surgery to release me from this hell that visits in crashing waves of pain.
After my surgery, I will be posting my progress on my journey.
Have you ever heard of or experienced trigeminal neuralgia?”

Danielle added a definition from the Mayo Clinic:
“Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition that causes painful sensations similar to an electric shock on one side of the face.
This chronic pain condition affects the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from your face to your brain.
If you have trigeminal neuralgia, even mild stimulation of your face, such as from brushing your teeth or putting on makeup, may trigger a jolt of excruciating pain.”

She concluded:
“You may initially experience short, mild attacks, but trigeminal neuralgia can progress and cause longer, more frequent bouts of searing pain.”

Fans flooded the comments with love and support for the star and her health journey ahead:
One wrote, “Hope you get instant relief, Donnie. Love you.”
Another said, “Good luck with surgery and quick healing.”
A third commented, “Ouch. I had, in comparison to yours, a mild case years ago and that was bad enough, so I dread to think how bad yours has been. Sending much love and healing post-op for you.”
A fourth added, “I have trigeminal neuralgia from my MS attacking that nerve. It’s awful and scary, especially when it causes paralysis too. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, and I hope your treatment brings you relief. Easy and quick healing, friend.”
