Disappointed fans of American Pickers have expressed their displeasure with the season 25 cast changes. Over the course of the season, the show’s ratings have fluctuated. On the March 6th episode, they almost topped 1 million viewers before falling again. The US Sun has exclusive information that the episode on March 13th attracted 785,000 viewers, compared to the 936,000 viewers of the March 6th episode—a drop of 151,000 viewers.

Mike Wolfe (60), the host of American Pickers, traveled to Wisconsin on the History Channel show on the 13th to examine a race car driver’s motorcycle collection. The program description made no mention of his co-stars Robbie Wolfe (57), Danielle Colby (48), or Jersey John, also known as John Chalet (60). In light of the declining ratings, Mike even urged his followers to watch the program on March 20th. He posted a carousel of screen grabs from the show on Instagram, captioning it, “Last call to watch tonight’s episode of American Pickers on the History Channel. Remember to catch the train at 9/8c.”

The ratings for the March 20th episode are still pending. Over the course of season 25, the ratings have fluctuated greatly. In December 2023, the first two episodes of the season aired: 723,000 people watched Classic Car Cemetery, while just 676,000 watched part two of the premiere, Hidden Cash Stash. The number of viewers increased to 880,000 for the third episode and stayed there for the remainder of the month. By January 24, viewership shot up to 948,000 people, with the lowest rating on February 14 at 774,000 viewers and the highest on February 28 at 966,000. However, the numbers declined again for most of February. The March 6th episode, which drew 936,000 viewers, had a strong start to the month before dipping once more.

Since the renowned presenter Frank Fritz left the show in 2021, there have been several casting changes in recent seasons. This season, Robbie took Frank’s place, and Jersey John joined the regular cast. Fans, however, have been criticizing season 25 for being boring despite the recent changes. One viewer commented on the March 6th episode, saying, “Boring as always, so boring, same crap, different episode, what a letdown.” Another fan commented, “Robbie talks like he has a say, he should be cutting back lawns.” A third critic said, “Laughing my a** off, I agree 100% with you. The guy is freaking boring.”
